Voluntary Work
If you have a few spare hours a week and want to help the dog while they look for their new homes, then why not come down and lend a hand? We are open to volunteers from 10-2 seven days a week. If you give us a call we'll be happy to arrange and time and day for you to come down.
What does it involve?
Volunteers are able to help in almost all aspects of day-to-day kennel work. Jobs throughout the kennel involve cleaning kennels and runs, excercising dogs and introducing them to their potential perfect owners.
Who can volunteer?
Anyone over the age of 16 can volunteer, as long as you have a passion for animals and don't mind getting your hands dirty! You don't need to have previous experience working at a kennels, although experience with dogs (be them your own or someone else's) would be an advantage. If you don't have much experience, we will do our best to match you to a dog that suits your ability.
